Orkney Alcohol & Drugs Partnership is an active member of The Orkney Domestic Abuse Forum (DAF) which is a partnership organisation working to reduce and prevent incidents of domestic abuse in Orkney. The forum strives to ensure the provision of high-quality, appropriate services to those experiencing, affected by or at risk of domestic abuse.
As part of it's work the DAF has created a new 'Survivor Card' detailing support available for survivors of domestic abuse on Orkney.

Breathing Space: Further information and general support on men's health and well-being is available from 'Breathing Space', a free, confidential phone and web based service for people in Scotland experiencing low mood, depression or anxiety, on 0800838587 or via the link in the 'Related Sites section of this page.
Samaritans: 'Samaritans' is a confidential emotional support service available to anyone in the UK and Ireland. The service is available 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide. 'Samaritans' can be contacted on 08457909090 or by e-mail.

Respect Phoneline: Telephone: 08088024040 - A confidential helpline for domestic abuse perpetrators.
Rape Crisis Scotland: Telephone: 08088010302 (18:00 - midnight every day) - Provides crisis support for anyone in Scotland affected by sexual violence at any time in their lives.
NHS Open Road: Telephone: 01414207284 - A service for men of any age who perform sexual acts in exchange for some form of payment. This payment could be money, but equally could take the form of drinks, drugs, consumer goods, or a bed or roof over your head for the night.
