Naloxone Awareness & Delivery

 Naloxone is a medicine which temporarily reverses the effects of an opioid overdose, allowing potentially lifesaving time for someone suffering an overdose to access medical treatment. This session provides information about naloxone, how it works, kit assembly and how to administer the medicine in with attention to overdose intervention and basic life support with naloxone. Participants can also be provided with both Nyxoid and Prenoxad Naloxone kits if required.
