SHAAP - The 'Rural Matters' report launch

Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems (SHAAP) is hosting the launch of its Rural Matters’ report: Alcohol problems and recovery in rural Scotland: Findings from a literature review and qualitative research study. online on 23rd September from 2-4PM BST 

This report is the culmination of five community consultations and 30 qualitative interviews with healthcare professionals, service providers, recovery community members and fellowship members living and/or working in rural and remote areas of Scotland.

SHAAP would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate in the events and interviews culminating in the report and hope that this report will reflect the views and experiences gathered whilst at the same time putting forward recommendations for policy and practice to better serve communities.

The presentation of the report will last approximately 45 - 60 minutes and the remaining time will be open for a Q&A session and discussion.

This event will be held online on the Zoom platform. A joining link will be emailed to registrants in advance of the session on 23rd September.
